I’m at my best when I’m right in the middle of it. Walking between the vines, sitting down with the people behind the bottle, asking questions and listening to the stories that don't always make it onto the label.
I capture those moments as they are: real, unpolished and full of character. Through photography, video and social content, I translate the feeling of a place into stories people can see and feel.

Some stories need more space.
I write blogs, interviews and stories that go beyond what’s in the glass. It’s about the land, the people, their choices and the passion behind what they create.
Stories that make you feel like you were there too.

A beautiful wine deserves to find the right table.
Through my network in the Dutch hospitality and wine world, I connect distinctive wineries and their stories with people who appreciate what goes into them, creating room for new encounters and collaborations.

And sometimes, you don't need to know more about wine. You just need to pay more attention to it.
With my tastings and Wijnfulness experiences, I invite people to experience Italian wine differently. To slow down. To taste without rushing to an opinion. To notice, talk, laugh and discover.
No complicated wine rules. No right or wrong answers.
Just a glass, a story, good company and a moment to actually be there.
My name and my love of wine turned out to be a surprisingly perfect match. And so, Karwijn (wijn means wine in Dutch) was born.
What started as a bit of fun grew into something that feels completely true to who I am.
To me, wine is never just a drink. Behind every bottle there is a place, a person, a choice, a story. Sun-drenched hills, hands that have worked the same land for generations, unexpected conversations around a table and all those little moments in between.
That’s the world I want to discover. And share.
Through Karwijn, I capture what I taste, see and feel through stories, images and experiences that invite you to slow down, look a little closer and truly taste the moment.
